B.", possiby for Jacob Baum of the Upper Susquehanna School. It has a curly maple stock with an undisturbed finish, beautifully pieces patchbox, a wear plate, and ten silver inlays which are replaced. There is no restoration with the exception of three silver inlays being correctly replaced. The "mule-ear" percussion lock has always been associated with that region.
