Circa 1830 to 1850. OL: 54". BL: 39". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. Two silver inlays. This signed "George Kopp" has an overall untouched curly maple stock with an old patina. The curled maple is excellent and his patchbox engraving correlates to the fine sideplate engraving. This signed gun is a good example of the work of Andrew Kopp's son.
KENTUCKY RIFLE.
