Circa 1835 to 1850. OL: 53 - 3/4". BL: 37 - 1/2". TB: Octagon to round. LM: Percussion. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. One silver inlays. This latr Kentucky half-stock is unsigned but both percussion locks are marked "H. and J. Kirkman Nashville". Both of the side-by-side barrels are octagon to round and are smooth. The curly maple half-stock has a full pierced patchbox and a silver oval eagle inlay on teh cheek side and the stock has a nice mellow color and surface.
