Circa 1840 to 1850. OL: 53 - 1/4". BL: 37". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. PB: Oval. S: Walnut. Three brass inlays. This later walnut half-stock is signed "Henry" and is in "as found" condition with a half-inch forestock silver running from the top of the lock to the missing nose-cap. There is also a half-inch piece missing from the toe-plate and the late circular-lidded patchbox has a nice scalloped surround.
