Circa 1820 to 1830. OL: 60 - 3/4". BL: 45". TB: Octagon to round. LM: Percussion. Original. PB: None. S: Curly Maple. This long, graceful Kentucky fowler has a very fine curly maple stick with its original finish and has no repairs or restorations. The octagonal to round barrel is signed "J. Ford" who was working in Harrisburg, PA. The lock was originally flintlock but is now in its percussion state. This is a very pleasing Kentucky fowler.
