Circa 1830 to 1845. OL: 51 - 1/2". BL 36". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. Incise carving. Ten silver inlays. This signed Kentucky rifle by "A. Kiser" is typical of the Upper Susquehanna School with multiple silver inlays. The curly maple stock has been cleaned and waxed and there are some missing inlays and also a three-inch area of silver missing on the right side of the forestock.
