Circa 1830 to 1840. OL: 52". BL: 37". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. Original. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. 12 silver inlays. This later, but pleasing Kentucky rifle may be from the Western Pennsylvania/Eastern Ohio/Northern West Virginia area, and has a multiple-pierced patchbox along with 12 German silver inlays tastefully arranged. The curly maple stock has an old surface with a patch fore and aft of the lock, along with a broken wrist and extended tang to help secure the old break.
