Circa 1820 to 1830. OL: 58". BL: 42 - 1/4". TB: Octagonal. LM: Flintlock. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. Two silver inlays. This Kentucky signed "David Cooley" with a very nicely engraved horse-head patchbox with a fairly plain curly maple stock which appears to be fully intact. The original flintlock is a replacement as the barrel is welded in the rear. The toe-plate is a modern replacement.
