OL: 61". BL: 45 - 3/4". TB: Octagonal. LM: Flintlock. PB: 2-piece. S: Curly Maple. Incise carving. One silver inlay and one brass inlay. This Kentucky is easily recognized as J. Kuntz's work, although unsigned. The barrel is heavily pitted and the flintlock is a replacement, as is the sideplate. The stock has been cleaned and other miscellaneous metal parts are damaged or replaced. The patchbox and the pierced oval star inlay are well engraved.
