This is a beautiful example of a Mills Novelty Co. viewer that was produced in 1901 for animating photographs of relatively scandalous women. The oak cabinet has wonderful details and re-cast iron elements. It should be noted that the paper top sign calls this a "Quarterscope", while the cast aluminum front reads, "Your Next / The Quartoscope". It has a 62" power cord and includes one key.
