Circa 1835 to 1850. OL: 47 - 1/4". BL: 31 - 1/2". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. Incise carving. Four silver inlays. This late Kentucky bench rifle was probably shortened in its later years and a false muzzle was added. The earlier, recycled patchbox belies its time of manufacture.
