Circa 1830 to 1845. OL: 59". BL: 44". TB: Octagonal. LM: Flintlock. Re-conversion. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. Incise carving. One silver inlay. This John Amos rifle is typical of Bedford County rifles although not as ornate as many of the others. This rifle does have simple incise carving on the cheek side and the lock is a re-conversion.
