OL: 51". BL: 36 - 1/4". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. PB: Oval. S: Curly Maple. This rifle is a late example of a full-panel swivel breech from the Upper Susquehanna region with an original Martin & Smith Phila. back action lock. The curly maple wood panels appear to be all original, which is rare, as many are replaced or repaired. Both barrels are signed "S L", possibly for Samuel Loudenslager and the oval patchbox is German silver.
