OL: 60". BL: 43 - 1/2". TB: Octagon to round. Obvious re-conversion. PB: None. S: Plain Maple. SR: Lengthened. Relief carving. This Kentucky fowling piece has an Englished proofed barrel of original length, although the upper twenty-four inches of wood have been replaced and the wood runs on an angle joint back to the re-converted flintlock. There is some typical York-style floral carving around the barrel tang and the sideplate is a modern replacement.
