Brass round smoothbore barrel with flat section on top and front brass bead sight. Flat flintlock lockplate unmarked. Engraved brass furniture. Typical Berks County, Pennsylvania sideplate with spurs surrounding rear lock screw with engraved foliage at tail. Unique brass inlays on each side of grip engraved with repeating foliage. Brass butt cap with long tang and double line engraving. Brass trigger guard with engraved stylized pineapple finial and engraved foliage on bow. Walnut stock with faux striping and relief panels around lock cavity and sideplate. Incised carving around barrel tang and on each side of forend. Good condition, barrel retains an applied dark finish, as does some of the furniture, with a few scattered marks from use. Lock professionally reconverted to flint, scattered pitting and brown patina. Stock very good, as refinished with a few light marks from use.
