The Progressive Mfg. Co. of Pana, Illinois around 1906. A quick glance at the Dixon and it just looks like a mantle clock. Closer inspection reveals a coin slot and a pay out tray on the side. The top sign promises you'll never lose your nickel, and you just might win up to 3 trade checks. In reality, one to three tokens are supposed to come into the tray for every nickel you drop. The delicate mechanism inside could use some attention. The machine is complete with a winding key for the clock, a key for the back, and several tokens ready to dispense, but it needs some adjustment to work properly.
Condition: (Very Good).
