An incredibly rare and ornate cast iron card machine manufactured by Caille in the early 1900's. The machine appears to be in working, untouched, all original condition including the marquee with its paper award card. Depositing a coin the player depresses the handle and the cards spin. If satisfied, he can collect any rewards due OR he can deposit additional money and hold certain cards in order to possibly better his hand! What a gimmick that literally entrapped the player to hopefully better his hand, quite the money maker for the operator! While on location there was virtually no mechanical failure occurring but a huge financial return for the operator. Cast iron case shows patina and some loss of plating throughout. Includes key.
Condition: (Very Good).
Item Dimensions: 12" x 19" x 10-1/2".
