Place a coin in the slot on the mammy's apron and press the lever at the left side of the bank, the mammy lowers the spoon as if feeding the baby, her head lowers, the baby's leg rise and the coin fall into the bank. The coin may also be deposited directly into the bank by placing it int the baby's mouth. Resting the coin on the spoon does not cause it to fall into baby's mouth when the bank is operated.
