Brass mounted medium sized lion pommel that is deeply decorated. Thick cast guard knuckle bow is slotted with a plain walnut grip. Slightly curved English style blade has a single deep fuller near the spine. Hilt: 5-7/8”. Copy of "American Silver-Hilted Revolutionary and Early Federal Swords by Daniel Hartzler", featuring this sword will be included. Sword is featured on page 423, figure 384. Blade has been heavily cleaned and polished, sharpening marks visible with some scattered nicks in edge and dark spots on both sides. Guard has been polished and has a few scattered marks. Wood grip probably replaced.
