Developed by Henry Charles Marx in 1912, this Marxophone was built sometime between 1926 and the 1950's in Hoboken, New Jersey. Also included are some instruction booklets and some sheet music. It should be noted that the heads on the 15 hammers are made of white lead. Many people would coat them in epoxy to avoid spreading poisonous dust.
