This lot consists of a bronze, depicting Romeo and Juliet, by the French sculptor Jean-Louis Gregoire. Depicted is Romeo with one arm around the beautiful Juliet, while the other is in front of her, as they gaze into each other’s eyes. This version of Romeo and Juliet depicts them in Renaissance garb. This bronze was created with great attention to detail and is in excellent condition. The piece is signed, L. Gregoire, between Romeo’s feet on the left side of the base. Overall this is a beautiful bronze.
