This romantic oil on canvas painting of a Falconer kissing a mounted Lady was executed by Astley David Montague Cooper (American, 1856-1924, also known as Astley David Middleton Cooper or A.D.M. Cooper) in 1890. The paint has developed a craquelure texture and the colors seem muted from a darkening varnish. It resides in a large, ornate frame with some chips.
Condition: (Very Good).
