Very important historical ephemera. This is a grouping of five original letters written by Charlie Russell's wife explaining price quotes and sales of Charlie's paintings and bronzes. These letters were sent to N.Y. City Art Galleries from 1915 to 1919. In very nice condition. Dates range from 1915 to 1919. Each letter is signed and typed on "C.M. Russell, Great Falls, Montana" stationary, which features a steer head skull. Includes articles detailing the C.M. Russell Museum auction.
