Manufactured 1890. Features full round barrel, full magazine, sporting front sight, Winchester sporting rear sight, walnut stock and rifle butt. Metal is basically a smooth blue-grey patina. Forearm is very good with a few nicks. Buttstock is good and proud to metal but is missing a sliver at left bottom wrist 1-3/4". Strong, clean bore and fine action. Very popular caliber. With a repair to the small chip, it would make a fine looking 86.
