The Meanea brand from Cheyenne, Wyoming, was one of the most highly coveted of all Western leather goods. Their holsters routinely bring upwards of $5,000. These shotgun chaps date to the 1890-1910 era. They feature double pockets, full leggings, full fringe on both sides, border tooling on legs and belt. Both sides of the belt are maker stamped with a heavy duty roller buckle. Excellent condition with no tears or holes. Leather is still soft and supple. Strong markings.
FINE PAIR OF EARLY F.A. MEANEA FRINGED SHOTGUN CHAPS.
