Cylinder measures 1-7/8". This revolver accepts the .455 Eley round and the rear of cylinder is recessed for cartridge head case. Revolver dates to the late 19th century. Features double action, six shot, blued finish with one piece checkered wood grips, metal butt and lanyard loop. Matching number on cylinder. British proofed. The metal finish on this revolver shows generous amounts of original high polish blue mixed with brown patina and age freckling. Strong rifling with black powder abrasion. Grips are excellent. Indexes and locks up like new.
