This charming pair consists of a seldom seen white sitting mohair Steiff Sealyham and an adorable brown mohair chimp. The dog is about 19 cm tall and 27 cm long (not including the tail) and is head jointed. He has three black claws on each paw and a non-working side squeaker. His face comes to life with oversized black and brown glass pupil eyes, a black embroidered nose and mouth, a long mohair beard and triangular shaped ears that are lined in tan felt. His red collar and bell appear original. This style of Sealyham was produced in six sizes ranging from 8 to 25 cm from 1930 through 1929 overall. The chimp is 17 cm sitting and 25 cm standing and is fully jointed. His face, hands, feet and ears are made from tan felt. His face is detailed with brown and black glass pupil eyes set in eye pockets, a white mohair chin and airbrushing. This style of chimp was made in 15 sizes ranging from 10 to 90 cm from 1909 through 1943 overall and received his name, Jocko, in 1929. The Sealyham has his long trailing "F" button as his Steiff ID. The chimp has his long trailing "F" button and traces of his red ear tag as his Steiff ID. Lot also includes a 10 cm, 1960's era white mohair fully jointed Steiff chimp who retains his raised script button as his ID. Condition: as noted. All with general surface dust. Sealyham with light to moderate playwear, especially around face, otherwise good to very good. Chimp with overall but even fading. Felt hands and feet with a few color spots and one fleabite; ear with button with small tear across top, otherwise good overall.
