This bronze of an elongated female figure was sculpted in 1962 by Robert Harlow Platts (American, 1930-2014). The artist chose to finish the form with small strips, giving the whole piece a wonderful texture that is highlighted by the high points having shiny bronze show through the dark green patina. The bronze itself is 62-1/2" x 15" x 11" and is mounted on a wooden plinth that measures 3-3/4" x 19" x 15". The base is signed, "P '62".
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
