Mounted in Heian style gilt brass with tehchi heightened with jade insets. Both hangers are present, straight blade and scabbard of adventurine laquer with Ho-ho birds. A few jade inlays are missing, one ring and one mount missing from tseuba. Blade has some scattered areas of rust. Retains about 80% gilt finish overall.
