Manufactured by DWM for commercial sales in the United States. This is a very early example, being the 44th manufactured since serial numbers started at 2000. All early features include scalloped toggle with lock, grip safety, all matching numbers, commericial style blue finish, straw colored small parts and finely checkered walnut grips. American eagle stamped on chamber. "DWM" stamped on toggle. "Germany" stamped on front of frame. Grips are numbered to gun on both panels. This pistol has seen little to no use; retaining 98% original factory commercial blue finish. Beautiful straw colors. Near mint grips. Fine bore and action. This is one of the best condition early 1900 American Eagles we have seen.
