These were placed in service with the Swedish military in 1942. Manufactured by Carl Gustafs Stad. It is a direct gas-operated design with no piston or rod. Features a ten round detachable magazine, military sights, full length military stock, and hand guard with barrel bands. Dated on left side of frame 1943 with crown. Right side of stock has the original brass disc. Metal is finished in rust blue and black enamel of which frame, trigger guard and barrel retain virtually all of their original finish. This rifle is basically a variation on the Egyptian Hakim rifle. This rifle has seen little to no use and appears to be un-issued. Very scarce Swedish semi-automatic.
