This lot consists of a beautiful watercolor painting by artist W. Louis Sonntag Jr. The artist's signature is found on the lower left side of the painting. This watercolor depicts a woman, most likely from the late 1800's as noted from her dress, feeding the chickens that are around her feet. Not only are these chicken waiting to be fed but there are also roosters that are found on the right side of the painting as well. In the background of the painting, there is a broken down barn that looks like it's glory days are far behind. In the foreground on the right side of the painting, many miscellaneous pieces are thrown together in a pile. This pile contains a wheel, cartons, a cage and other miscellaneous items. The painting is well executed with beautiful detail. This item is framed in a simple wooden frame and matted with white matting. Overall this piece is in wonderful condition with normal wear present.

Condition: (Very Good-Excellent).

Item Dimensions: Framed : 28-1/2" x 22".
