The Model 52 was first produced in 1952. This is a gas-operated semi-automatic rifle with full stock, pistol grip, folding non-detachable bayonet and detachable ten round box magazine. Left side of frame is stamped "AYM" and underneath "02956" followed by serial No. R09029. Metal is basically blue-brown patina. Has a short walnut hand guard and one piece walnut stock with a metal fluted forward hand guard. Wood shows the usual bumps and bruises. Fine action. Very good bore.
