Designed by Fyedo Vassilovetch, these rifles were manufactured in 1940 and 1941. This rifle is dated 1942 on chamber. Features a ten round magazine, blued finish, hardwood stock, ventilated hardwood hand guard, and a ventilated metal forward shroud. Has a built-in flash suppressor, cleaning rod, high globe front sight, military rear sight, sling swivels. Magazine is No. 2542. Trigger guard is No. 3642. Last two digits under bolt are "80". Barrel and shroud retain approximately 90% arsenal blue, as does frame. Bolt is in the white. Magazine is a blue-brown patina. Trigger guard is blue-brown patina. 50% original blue on buttplate. Stocks are excellent with usual war dings. Fine bore and action. This is a typical post-war rework.
