This rifle was manufactured near the end of production with large blocks of serial numbers not used. The estimated production stopped at 848,000 making this one of the last of those produced. Standard model with straight gum wood stock, 12 groove slide handle, blued finish, and sporting sights. Takedown, as are all models. Retains virtually all of the expertly restored, reapplied blue finish with sharp legends. Stocks appear to be near mint as restored. Strong, clean bore. We do not know who performed the expert restoration but it is of the highest quality. The rifle appears to be as it would if it were out of a hardware store in the 1930's.
