Features full octagon barrel, military style folding rear sight, sporting front sight. Left barrel flat stamped "C&H. WESTON 7 NEW ROAD BRIGHTON".
Retains approximately 90% original factory blue with razor sharp edges and legends. Frame retains approximately 40% original blue, balance soft patina. Checkered walnut stocks with smooth steel buttplate in excellent condition. Has factory installed sling eyes. Perfect action with a strong clean bore. Charles & Herbert Weston operated their shop at this address from 1867 to 1920. Trigger guard is stamped 6179. Barrel is stamped 2037. Frame is stamped 52711. Beautiful, early Martini sporting rifle in fine.
