Made in 1952. Bolt is etched with matching number. Features blued barrel, folding leaf rear sight and ramp front sight with hood. Matte finish frame retains virtually all of its original finish. Barrel has a couple of very minor rubs and retains 99% finish. Has the Redfield peep sight on left side and Bausch & Lomb Balfor scope and Redfield mounts. Floor plate and trigger guard retain 85% of original finish with some high edge wear and freckling. Stock is excellent to near mint. Monte Carlo comb with razor shark checking, sling swivels and blued steel buttplate. Strong clean bore and fine action. Very handsome, high condition pre-64 Winchester Model 70.
