Manufactured 1937. All serial numbers matching. Blued round steel barrels with solid matte rib and single brass bead. Breech is marked "NEW ITHACA FIELD GRADE / ITHACA GUN CO ITHACA NY". Case hardened boxlock action with engraved borders and blued trigger guard. Features include extractors, automatic safeties and double triggers. Partially figured walnut buttstock and splinter forearm. Pistol grip buttstock with hard rubber buttplate. Good condition; barrels retain approximately 95% blue finish with some light freckling. Actions retain mostly brown patina with generous traces of case colors especially in protected areas. Stocks very good with some minor scratches and losses to finish.
