Lot includes: 1- Regina Automatic Changer Music Box, 1- 27" circular tune sheet, and 1- bag of accoutrements. The music box is a Regina Corona Model 8A with a 5¢ coin slide. Carved dragon motif in the front of the mahogany cabinet, fretwork on the upper gallery with high finials at the corners, twelve 27" tune sheets, and a changing mechanism. There is a copyright 1897 lithograph on the inside back. The serial number 30477 indicates that it was in the first large production run of 500 machines that played the 27" sheet, most shipped by 1899. There are some nicks in the cabinet and two cracks in the ribbed sounding board. The extra tune sheet is copper colored "Stars and Stripes Forever" by Sousa. The bag of accoutrements include one crank to be shared on the two pegs on the right side of the machine, some documentation, and a few small parts. One key is included.
