This beam balance is encased in a wood and glass cabinet with the front panel sliding vertically to allow access. The balance is machined brass and is 15" between hangers that hold 8-1/2" pans. The word "SEKO" is stamped into the brass base of the balance, this was a contraction of each owner's name and was effectively their logo. It has one drawer. The second item in this lot is a corresponding set of weights. There are 10 cylindrical weights, from 1/8 oz. up to 4 lbs. in a wood holder.
