Both guns are tip-up with Smith & Wesson logo on rib, octagon barrels, six shot, spur trigger, varnished two piece walnut grips. Gun (A) is all grey patina, indexes well with strong bore and minor abrasion. Gun (B) has approximately 30% original blue, balance smooth, soft patina. Indexes perfectly with a strong bore and minor abrasion. Both revolvers have excellent grips. No. 2's were manufactured from 1861-1874.
