Charles Lancaster operated a gun shop at 151 New Bond Street, London beginning in 1822 until 1854. The family was in business until 1932. They worked with Alfred from 1855 to 1859 at New Bond Street as well. The barrels all have London proofs. Top rib is stamped "CHARLES LANCASTER PATENT 151 NEW BOND ST LONDON". Barrels are a smooth blue-brown patina with a richer blue in the flutes. Frame is the same patina. has a finely checkered pistol grip two piece stock, serrated back strap, lanyard ring, left side barrel release lever and single trigger. Tip-down. Stocks are in excellent condition. Beautiful working order. Mirror bores. Razor sharp markings and crisp checkering. Simply exquisite high condition large bore multi-barrel pistol rarely seen, especially in this condition.
