Manufactured 1906, second year of production. Features six shot, double action, blued finish and black Colt composite grips. Gun retains approximately 80% original early high polish factory blue. Grips straps are starting to patina, as is trigger guard and top of frame, blending perfectly with blue. Perfect action. Strong clean bore. Very early, scarce high polish Police Positive. Comes in original box numbered to gun and reads "Colt's New Police Revolver". Box is complete with paper flaking.
