A) Sudanese Kaskara with straight tapered steel blade with three fullers. Hilt of familiar form. Good condition; blade retains a grey patina with scattered dark spots, light pitting, and a few nicks. Some leather wrap missing on grip, guard retains an even grey patina. B) Brass hilted spadroon with straight diamond section blade with faint etching on both sides. Brass guard with acorn quillons and three stars engraved on backstrap, carved bone grip. Poor condition; blade dark and showing heavy wear. Hilt retains a dark patina and is very loose. Grip has some chipping at both ends. C) Composite basket hilt with German blade marked "Solingen" and German inscription on spine. Contemporary brass basket hilt and leather wrapped grip. Hilt has an applied black finish. Good condition; blade retains a spotted grey patina with some areas filed and scattered areas of sharpening.
