Comprising: A) U.S. Model 1836 Pistol Converted to Percussion. Round smoothbore barrel stamped, "US / JH / P". Flat lockplate stamped in center, US./R. JOHNSON/MIDDN/CONN/1843". Standard Model 1836 steel furniture and replaced swiveling ramrod. Plain walnut stock with two worn cartouches on left side behind sideplate. Fair condition; all steel components retain a pitted gray patina with some scattered marks. Stock shows heavy wear with scattered cracks and marks from use. Grip has a large repaired break. B) U.S. Model 1842 Percussion Pistol. Round smoothbore barrel stamped, "US/SK/P" near breech. Flat lockplate stamped, "US / I.N. JOHNSON" and "MIDDTN / CONN / 1853" vertically on tail. Standard brass 1842 walnut furniture and stock. Fair condition; shows heavy wear overall and scattered marks from use. Dark patina on all surfaces.
