Round, smooth bored steel barrel stamped, "B / 1813" with tang also dated 1813. Flat flintlock lockplate with rounded tang, reinforced cock and brass pan. Inscribed with "Maubauge" markings in center. Standard brass furniture, most components stamped with crown/D. Walnut half stock, stamped 256 on left side behind sideplate. Replaced steel ramrod. Fair condition, lock and barrel retain a gray, spotted patina. Barrel shows some wear to markings and a few scattered marks from use. Brass has been polished and coated with a protective finish. Stock has a repair on right side of forend and a few scattered marks from use.
