Factory letter indicates this rifle left the factory with a full round barrel, plain trigger on September 21, 1892. Features full round barrel; full magazine; original Winchester sporting sights; walnut stock; rifle buttplate; and case colored frame, hammer and lever. The barrel and tube are a beautiful blend of blue with soft patina with razor sharp legends. The bolt retains approximately 90% original high polish factory blue finish. Loading gate is approximately 70% blue finish. Frame retains approximately 40-60% case colors on both sides. Nice colors on lever with traces on hammer. Wood has a few minor dings but is in nice all original condition. Stock retains most of its original varnish with no cracks or chips. Fine action and strong near mint bore. This is a very fine 1886 in collectible condition with good color on frame.
