J. & E. Stevens Co. Designed by Henry W. Prouty, patented 3/7/1876. After the door is opened, which brings the Cashier to the front, a slight touch on a knob at the side causes him to disappear and to place the money of the depositor safely in the vault. Minor 1/2" crack on the roof.
