Comprising: A) Starr Model 1818 cavalry saber, curved single fuller blade, reverse-P guard, fluted wood grip. Fair condition; pitted overall and painted silver, grip with some chips, guard bent. B) U.S. Model 1850 Non-commissioned officer's sword with slightly curved etched single fuller blade with later spurious Confederate inscription. Standard cast brass hilt engraved with florals, wreath, shield, stars, and wreaths. Pierced guard. Shark skin wrapped grip with braided copper wire. Complete with steel scabbard with brass mounts, top mount engraved with large intertwined "US". Good condition; blade shows some wear and light pitting, hilt showing some areas of darker patina and scattered marks from use. Scabbard retains dark grey and spotted patina and scattered dents and marks. C) U.S. Model 1840 NCO sword. Straight tapered single fuller blade with German maker's mark near top. Cast brass hilt and grip. Good condition; blade shows grey spotted patine with some wear. Grip and hilt with scattered marks, unpolished patina, bent counter guard.
