The well pierced ax blade displays the metal workers skill. The long spear is exceptional as most Halberds are for parade use but this was obviously made for battle. Body of Halberd chiseled with faces and projecting dragon. Mounted on partial original shaft decorated with brass tacks. Condition is overall good; minor staining and pitting. An extraordinary 17th century polearm.
